Founded in 2006, Barking Spider is an independent, vibrant and original visual theatre company based in Melbourne, Australia. Barking Spider aims to challenge and enrich audiences of all ages, through a combination of visual and performing art forms, such as puppetry, music and live performance.

    The Barking Spider team consists of a variety of people, from a wide variety of backgrounds. Music, acting, puppetry, lighting, sound, film, TV, theatre. The list goes on. These people are: Penelope Bartlau, Jason Lehane, Leah Scholes, Sarah Walker, Michael Agar, Gilly McInnes, Justine Warner, Dan Goronszy, Rachel Edward, John Paul Fischbach, Chrissie Shaw, Alana Teasdale, Jacob Boehme, Govin Ruben, Damien Mclean, Michael Camilleri, Angie Grant, Richard Jeziorny, Edward Dowling, Erica McCalman and Tim Denton.
